Raksha, the Shadow Colossus is an imprisoned rex colossus found underneath the Anachronia Swamp Fortress. It can be fought alone or in a duo.

Overview[editar | editar código-fonte]

In a solo encounter, Raksha has 800,000 health; in duo encounters, he possesses 1,600,000 health. Raksha has very high offensive stats, with an Attack and Ranged level of 110 and a Magic level of 120, making it very unlikely for any of its attacks to miss. Raksha's attacks deal very high damage if not protected against; protected attacks will generally deal around 1,100-1,200 damage, whereas an unprotected attack can deal well over 4,500 damage, even at 0% shadow absorption. Raksha is considered to be a 5x5 monster and combat is as if he was a 5x5 monster, but his actual hitbox tiles align more as a 3x3 monster, so Raksha should be moved to enhance bleed abilities, rather than walking underneath him.

Defensively, Raksha possesses a Defence level of 85 with a 2178 rating. Despite having no weakness, Raksha is effectively weak against Ranged attacks, with 65 ranged, 55 magic and 45 melee affinity. He is also susceptible to the hexhunter bow, leech and reflect damage, but not against poison or stun effects.

Damage incurred throughout the first three phases can generally be mitigated with Soul Split flicking and using the occasional Resonance against an auto-attack. Additional defensive abilities including Devotion, Debilitate and Reflect are also useful as most of Raksha's mechanics deal soft typeless damage.

Attacks[editar | editar código-fonte]

Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Phase 4
Sim.svg Sim.svg Sim.svg Sim.svg

Auto Attack (melee/ranged/magic attack)

Mechanics: Raksha uses all three styles of combat; lunging and biting the player with melee, launching spikes with ranged and discharging a shadow ball of energy as magic. In melee distance, Raksha will always alternate between these three attacks and will never perform them consecutively. If his target is out of range, he will perform both range and magic attacks, sometimes consecutively. Raksha will always chase after his primary target.

Tail Sweep/Charge (typeless attack)

Mechanics: If the player is within melee range, Raksha will perform a tail swipe. Likewise, if the player out of melee range, Raksha will charge towards the player's direction. Getting caught in this attack will deal around 7,000 soft typeless damage, disabling protection prayers, stunning and binding the player for 3 seconds.

Action required: Using Anticipation or Freedom beforehand will prevent Raksha from disabling protection prayers. The tail sweep has a range of 2 squares from Raksha's max melee range (effectively being a 7x7 AoE).

Prayer required: None (typeless attack that cannot be reduced with prayer)

Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Phase 4

Shadow Blast (magic attack)

Mechanics: Raksha will walk to the center of the first arena and discharge five blasts of shadow energy that deal around 3,000 magic damage per hit. It also reduces incoming damage by 90%, apart from reflected damage.

Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Phase 4
Sim.svg Sim.svg Sim.svg Não.svg

Shadow Anima Pool (mechanic)

Mechanics: After each tail sweep/charge attack, Raksha's violent movement will cause three pools of shadow anima to form in the arena. These pools are level 50 and possess 1,000 health. Eight of these will form around the arena during phase transitions to 2 and 3. The pools form in one of four areas underneath a shadow anima crane. Additional pools that form in a pile containing shadow anima will appear slightly after the previous pool formed. They only appear immediately if they form in an empty area.

Prayer required: None

Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Phase 4
Sim.svg Sim.svg Sim.svg Sim.svg

Shadow Bomb (magic attack)

Mechanics: Raksha launches a shadow orb at player(s), applying a 6 second stun and bind. The bomb has a 2 tile radius (3x3 AoE); if Freedom or Anticipation was used before the attack was initiated, it will simply deal around 6,000 magic damage. If Freedom is used after the stun applies, it will still cause a prayer disable if struck. After impact, it leaves behind a 3 tile radius (5x5 AoE) of dangerous shadow anima that damages player(s) standing it at 800 hard typeless damage, increasing by 400 every tick it persists, capping at 2,000 damage. These clouds of shadow anima dissipate about 30 seconds upon being spread.

Action required: Using Anticipation or Freedom beforehand will prevent Raksha from disabling protection prayers and from stunning the player.

Prayer required: Arquivo:Deflect Magic.png Deflect Magic for the bomb; anima deals typeless damage

Ceiling Collapse (typeless attack)

Mechanics: After going into the next phase for 2 and 3, Raksha will violently stomp the ground, causing the ceiling to collapse from above. Like Telos' ceiling collapse attack, small rocks will fall down as a warning indicator before a large rock falls down in a 3 tile radius around this indicator (5x5 AoE) and deal around 6,000 soft typeless damage if caught in one.

Game message: Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte

Action required: Dodge the falling rocks.

Prayer required: None (typeless attack that cannot be reduced with prayer)

Phase Mechanics[editar | editar código-fonte]

The next phase begins when Raksha loses 25% of its health.

Phase 1[editar | editar código-fonte]

There are no particular special attacks performed in this phase. All attacks seem to be pretty special, as they do throughout the fight. Mitigate them with Prayer and available defensives, including movement abilities when appropriate.

Although shadow anima pools will appear with every tail sweep/charge attack, Raksha will not siphon from them until the Shadow Blast mechanic is initiated. If the player(s) can easily phase Raksha down, then they can be left alone during this phase.

Attack rotation:

Phase 1 4 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Charge Shadow pools 4 Auto-attacks Shadow bomb 4 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Charge 4 Auto-attacks Shadow bomb 4 Auto-attacks Shadow blast 4 Auto-attacks

Phase 2[editar | editar código-fonte]

A message will occasionally appear on the screen stating Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte, where Raksha will project a vision onto the player. By default, two orbs appear, but up to four will be present if Raksha has absorbed a significant amount of shadow anima. This does not apply any stun or bind effects, but each orb deals around 600 soft typeless damage every few ticks until expelled; simply click on them to expel them immediately. When the visions are dispelled, players are informed with the message Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte If not expelled, the orbs will explode for 2,000-3,000 damage each.

In addition, the shadow bomb attack count is increased based on the percentage of shadow anima Raksha has absorbed. By default, it is increased to three, but an additional orb is launched for every 10% shadow anima absorbed, capping at 6 at 40% or more. Raksha will also yell Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte and a message will appear stating Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte when this attack is initiated.

As with the previous phase, Raksha will only siphon from the pools when he initiates the Shadow Blast attack. It is still recommended to clear all pools before starting the next phase. Begin applying Storm Shards during this phase.

Attack rotation:

Phase 2 4 Auto-attacks Poison mind 4 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Charge 4 Auto-attacks Shadow bomb 4 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Charge 4 Auto-attacks Shadow blast 4 Auto-attacks

Phase 3[editar | editar código-fonte]

Clear Shadow anima pools after the phase transition, as Raksha will begin to absorb shadow anima at a far faster rate than the previous phases. When the phase begins, the message Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte will appear. A shadow manifestation of a feral dinosaur will also appear slightly before the shadow pools form. These are level 160 with 10,000 health, behaving the same way as their real counterparts on the surface of Anachronia. However, their frenzy attack will also apply a single stack of armour break, applying five stacks of this every time the attack is performed. The frenzy attack poses little danger as Raksha's auto-attacks are already extremely accurate, but it is best to kill the manifestations off regardless.

Along with the appearance of the shadow manifestation, Raksha will begin to siphon the shadow anima at a much faster rate, so it's best to kill them off as soon as they appear to prevent him from empowering himself. Try to have at least three stacks of Storm Shards before phasing.

Attack rotation:

Phase 3 4 Auto-attacks Poison mind 4 Auto-attacks Shadow bomb 4 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Charge

Phase 4[editar | editar código-fonte]

At the start of this phase, the Keeper will instruct the player(s) to run into the antechamber as the shadow becomes too overwhelming in the oubliette. Any shadow manifestations in the oubliette will automatically die off. Although additional shadow anima pools will form in the oubliette during the phase, they do not increase Raksha's strength.

Raksha will pursue the player(s) in the process, only for the Keeper to activate a holding field to trap Raksha inside, which also causes four hydraulic posts to appear in the corners. He will become enraged by the deception and heal himself for 25% of his maximum health.

Raksha discards most of his special attacks, retaining only his tail sweep and shadow bomb mechanics (which reverts back to one bomb regardless of anima absorption) and turn into a blocked 5x5 monster for the duration of this phase. He will perform either of these mechanics after performing every two auto-attacks; the tail swipe if the player is within range (directly next to a post at max range), or a shadow bomb if the player(s) are more than two tiles away from the posts. Because the shadow bomb will outpace the cooldown of both Freedom and Anticipation, it is highly recommended to stay close to Raksha whenever possible so that he will always use his tail swipe instead of launching shadow bombs. The combination of both a prayer-disabling shadow bomb and one of Raksha's auto-attacks will deal massive, if not outright fatal damage, especially if he has been empowered.

Attack rotation:

Phase 4 2 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Shadow bomb 2 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Shadow bomb 2 Auto-attacks Erebus Charge Tail sweep / Shadow bomb 2 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Shadow bomb 2 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Shadow bomb 2 Auto-attacks Tail sweep / Shadow bomb

Raksha also gains a new special attack during this phase: Erebus Charge, in which he will yell Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte. He will stop performing auto-attacks for the duration of this attack, while charging up shadow anima as a blue dome surrounds him. A bar will also appear above him; if filled, he will unleash a blast of shadow anima that causes instant death if not dealt with properly.

There are two ways to avoid this attack:

  • Deal enough damage to break the dome. If Raksha has not been strengthened at all, a minimum of 10,000 damage is required.
  • Hide behind one of the four posts, which the Keeper suggests to do. Only recommended if the dome cannot be breached in time.

If the dome is attacked, it will spill out fragments of shadow anima and spills out even more when the dome is shattered across the antechamber (including underneath Raksha), with the Keeper suggesting that they be collected. In solo encounters, 15 fragments of shadow anima will be scattered when the dome is destroyed. The scattered anima will be automatically collected when the player is within 3 tiles of one, much like the anima in Shattered Worlds. When the anima is absorbed, a message will appear stating Página já criada em português: Predefinição:Fonte alongside the Extra Action icon to begin Inner Power.

As the game message states, Inner Power increases your damage by 10% per stack; with 15 fragments of shadow anima, this equates to 150% additional damage. This will also work with other damage-increasing sources, so it will be very easy to hit the damage cap for 30 seconds when used with a damage-increasing ultimate. The phase should have started with at least three stacks of Storm Shards; apply a fourth during this phase. Shatter with Inner Power and a damage-boosting ultimate will easily deal 30,000 damage.

With optimal gear and max Inner Power stacks from the first instant-kill attack, Raksha should be subdued before he can use it again.

Once Raksha is subdued, collect your rewards from the Keeper before teleporting away.
